Qing mingfestival,the traditional tomb-sweeping day,falls on April 2-4 each year. It is a time to remember the dead. And people honour their ancestors and pay respect to their deceased relatives in that day.

    During the Qing ming festival,people usually visit their family graves to clean the tombs and set out offerings of foods and spirit money.　At this time everything in nature takes ona new look,　as trees turn green. Thus,it is also a festival for people to go outand to appreciate the beautiful scenes.This festival started from the zhou Dynasty,with a history of over　2500 years.
